Online sales in Colombia grow 30% in March 2020
According to the latest study presented by Growth from Knowledge (GfK), a German market research company, online sales grew from 6.4% to 30.5% compared to the previous year, due to covid-19 preventive quarantine in Colombia.

It highlights the growth in Technology Categories, such as video consoles and computers due to the need to respond to Homeoffice, homeschooling and diversify entertainment.
This behavior is very similar to that of countries such as China, Italy and Spain. Cell phone sales had a significant drop.
“From this period of confinement more consumers will make the online, more common. We are confident that Colombia will find the best alternatives to successfully adapt and overcome this situation,” GfK concluded.
